The HM-BT4531 is a Bluetooth LE module based on the CMT4531 SoC. An SoC with a Cortex-M0 core (64MHz), 256kB Flash, 48kB SRAM & Bluetooth LE radio. Detailed information about the SoC can be found below in this article.
The HM-BT4531 has a compact design measuring 17 mm x 12 mm x 2.6 mm and has an integrated PCB antenna. It is intended for use with a host connected via UART (baud rate: 9.6 kbps to 500 kbps) and is controlled by AT commands. It supports LE 1M/2M PHY and LE Coded PHY according to the Bluetooth LE 5.2 protocol and Bluetooth Mesh. It is certified according to CE (EU), FCC (USA), ISED (Canada), SRRC (China).
This makes the module perfect for cost-effective applications that require a local wireless connection via Bluetooth LE. Due to the Bluetooth LE radio’s very low power consumption of 130nA in power-down mode and 1.4µA in sleep mode with RAM retention, it is ideal for battery-powered devices or sensors.
