Pyramid – High-Rel P4C1023/1024 SRAM

Pyramid - High-Rel P4C1023/1024 SRAM

PYRAMID – High-Rel P4C1023/1024 SRAM: Pyramid Semiconductor Corp., has its roots in Performance Semiconductors founded in the mid 1980s.

In 2003 Pyramid Semicoductor Corp. was formed by management buy out located in Sunnyvale (CA – USA) as a fabless manufacturer of semiconductor integrated circuits including MIL-STD-1750A processors, static RAMs, EEPROMs and FCT/FCT-T logic with foundry partners in the USA and Taiwan.

Pyramid Semiconductor has been part of the HEICO Corporation Electronic Technologies Group since 2021.

Based on the proven proprietary high-end semiconductor designs, Pyramid Semiconductor offers the products in a variety of different plastic and hermetic ceramic packages – customized options can also be discussed.

PYRAMID – High-Rel P4C1023/1024 SRAM MIL-STD-883

The 128k x 8 SRAM are available from Pyramid Semiconductor. These are available in the common speed and package types and were included in the latest revision (Rev. V) of the SMD 5962-89598 from the DLA (SMD 5962-89598 Rev V) on March 11, 2025.

This SMD is fulfilled by the PYRAMID 1 Mb SRAM families (P4C1023/1024) in both the standard and low-power options.

There are 21 NEW SMD Device Types (Device Type 50 to 70) of low-power devices. PYRAMID is the only remaining source for these devices!

The only difference to the earlier low-power devices (device type 01 to 21) is that the data retention current consumption at 2 volts reaches 1mA at 110°C instead of 125°C and its maximum value at 125°C is 2.5mA.

Components according to SMD 5962-89598xx (where xx stands for 01 to 21) can therefore be replaced by the new SMD Device Types according to the table in the SMD (section 6.7.1 on page 46), or bought to the corresponding Pyramid Semiconductor part numbers P4C1023L and P4C1024L.
