Attend – 214A RJ45 POE++ Connectors: With the new 214A RJ45 connector series, the Taiwanese manufacturer ATTEND offers the basis for challenging PoE applications.

These are compliant with the IEEE 802.3bt standard and enable power transmission of up to 60W in 10/100M up to 10G Ethernet applications.

214A RJ45 POE++ Connector Overview

The RJ45 connectors in the 214A series are approved for industrial use at -40°C to +85°C and can be used in both PSE (power sourcing equipment) and PD (powered device) devices in a PoE application. With at least 750 mating cycles, these RJ45 sockets can also be used in applications where rewiring is more frequent. The 214A series consists of

Applications for the Attend – 214A RJ45 POE++ connectors

In addition to wireless communication in areas such as the smart home, the wired connection of devices is still essential for modern applications in the networked world. One advantage is definitely that the power supply can also be realized via PoE at the same time and that it is not necessary to work with batteries or rechargeable batteries in the end device.
